The District Committee on Superintendency invites you to an Open House reception in celebration of Rev. Abel Roy’s eight years of ministry as Superintendent for the Mohawk Valley District and Northeast Region from 3-5pm, Saturday, May 20, at First UMC, 105 Genesee Street, New Hartford, NY.  This event will be an Open House-style reception.  There will be a short program at 4pm.  There are no gifts, however, Rev. Roy invites you to make a gift to your local church in his honor, if you should choose to do so.  There will be a memory book at the celebration for those who wish to write a note for the Superintendent.

Rev. Roy will be appointed to serve a local church beginning July 1, as he has reached the maximum term allowed as a Superintendent.  Beginning July 1, a new Superintendent will serve the District.
